    The Acro looks like it's suffering from RTN, rapid tissue necrosis. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's bleaching, although I could be wrong. I would test my parameters, temperature etc. to see if anything is out of the ordinary. The color of the monti isn't great, but I dont' see anything explicitly wrong with it.

    frag off the areas where the tissue is sloughing off (the Rapid Tissue Necrosis). The seal the cut area with superglue.

    Well first, do you still see the polyps where the white is, or is it just dead skeleton?

    RTN is a disease that occurs on hard corals. It progresses very rapidly and causes the flesh of the coral to separate from the skeleton and die. If that is what it is, you can try to frag a healthy piece off and let that start to grow. But besides that, there's really no way to stop it.

    RTN will kill the entire frag within 24 to 36 hrs. Hard to fight.

    I had problems with mine dieing from the base up when I first started SPS. Lack of Calcium and high phosphates. Is much slower than RTN, but still bad.

    Check these two levels. A good water change and possibly a calcium suppliment ought to stop it, unless it's RTN of course. A good fragging has been know to stop RTN, but not all the time.

    RTN = Rapid Tissue Necrosis

    Monti looks fine, without a better pic. If you are talking about the white ring around the edge, that is new growth.
