I recently purchased 2 anemones; 1 Condi, one green BTA.

Tank is over a year old. The BTA drawled upside down a piece of live rock, deflated, bleached a little and stays there for the 2 days I've owned it, doesnt look good.

My Condy, crawled literally INSIDE a piece of live rock and has a tenticle or 2 that pokes out... ***. Will it ever come out? Can it come out? If I wanted to get it out, I'd have to break the rock in half, and I'm not doing that.

I've had a previous GBTA that was big, gorgeous, and would puff up all the time but fell victim to a powerhead.

My params are good, zero ammonia/nitrite/less than 5 nitrate.

Is there any help for nems or just leave it be?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
There is nothing you can do. They are still acclimating, it may take some time. They may need longer to acclimate to the lighting.

I had the same issues with two rock anemones. One is still on the move the other found a home still both look a little sketchy and it's been at least a month. Be patient and watch them everyday is the only advice I can offer.

    UPDATE:

Well the Condi is fine, it keeps it's foot in the rock and keeps its tentacles poking out for the most part, ok cool.. at least I get to see some color from it in the tank.

The GBTA is still being a bitter *******. It never moved from its first spot but its never been happy at all, never bubbling up and staying mostly closed. I decided to move it and put it right side up on a rock and it's already starting to bubble up as I type... what an idiot anemone.

... and my clowns still host a corner of my tank. /facepalm
