    i thought sharks and rays didnt like intense light? im probly wrong because i havent done any research but i remember hearing that soewhere.

    He's saying he'd put his current lights in the center, make his reef there, and leave the rest open for the sharks/rays. Think of a spotlight in the middle where his corals would be. I only see one problem right off the bat with that, trying to reach into the middle for corals that get knocked over would grow to be a PITA

    It would not be without its challenges, that's for sure, but nothing a light box on a pully setup wouldn't help. I am still waiting to hear back from the seller, so at the moment this is just a pipe dream.
