    Hey guys one more for you guys. I picked up a green monti cap, and the live rock had this guy chilling it in.

    Bristleworm or no? It looks like some type of work however its legs look feathery.. like fine thread

    Fireworm..... the very nasty brother of the bristleworm. Those little feathers are full of a very powerful sting. Hands off.

    looks like a bristleworm to me... I always thought bristleworms and fireworms were the same thing...

    They are.... kinda.

    Bristleworm is actually a whole family of worms. The Fireworm being a specific species. A fireworm's neurotoxin is stronger than most other species of bristleworm.

    A fireworm is usually more fuzzy, instead of bristly.... if that makes any sense.

    I got a sting from a fireworm once. Dont touch it man. Those stings arent fun.
