    Have not gotten much zoa growth for ages...But all of a sudden they are expanding rapidly...have no idea what condition in tank changed to cause it. :eek:

    i have a good quess.i had the same thing happen,i think it just took awhile for the zoos to adjust to my lighting,then they took off fast.

    Am talking about couple of years with no change in lighting and little zoa growth. -- :confused:

    Never feed mine a thing specifically.

    But thinking over, I did put back on filter socks on return pipes couple of months ago...thereby greatly increasing water clarity/purity (which in turn made the lights more efficient. )

    Expect that may be cause for rapid zoa expansion. :-/

    But for whatever reason am quite happy about it. Have been waiting long time to see some zoa growth...at this rate probably going to become nuisance shortly - ;)

    Not a chance with me...am sticking with my softies (which I find much more attractive! - ;D )
    - (oh, I do have some frogspawn that grows like mad also. ;) )

    Light and nutrients from your water column is essential with good water flow. Many of them will also consume mysis or brine shrimp, causing them to grow like crazy as well, atleast from what I see in my tanks!

    I agree, I really dont see why so many people like sps, I like softies and LPS alot more,but then again maybe i havent seen many sps corals before.
