Maybe im weird. It think feeding them causes slow in growth. When I was constantly feeding them they would not extend fully but were growing. Caused a nitrate spike over time putting a hurting on my system. Had to redo the whole thing. This time i dont feed hardly anything and the polyps that i had prior are much fuller and growing out faster than before. THey now have larger and much better looking extended polyps. I think if you feed them they dont have the need to extend or reproduce they are too happy. If starved some what, the polyps will extend looking for food thus giving it a fuller much better looking polyp. Also its natural for them to reproduce when they feel threatened to prolong their llife. To much starvation and bad water quality will cause them to uplift and float to another rock ? My opions let me know if anyone agrees. No more direct feeding for me just the fish getting food.
