    It's hard not to love lionfish, isn't it?

    P. radiata is a really great lionfish...mild-mannered even by lionfish standards, so be sure it gets enuff to eat. Another thing about P. radiata is that they don't ship super well, so many specimens come in looking a bit ruff, esp. noticeable in the area around the head...for some reason they seem to get beaten up in that area, so give the fish a good looking over if you can. However, good care will generally turn them right around.

    This fish has a bad habit of getting its cheek spines caught in "regular" nets (I've had to cut fish out of nets in the past), so an open-weave, soft, box-bottom net is best for the radiata (or any lionfish).

    i guess you can say im green with envoy right now just cant wait till the 72 is cycled then i can start getting my fish. almost there tho.

    Lion fish are why my wife is begging me for a predator tank. I'm thinking next year we will go for it. Lion fish rock.
