This is a poll purely based on personal preference, I am thinking of adding either of these to my tank and wanted to see what others liked better. The tank is a mixed reef and is stocked with a kole tang, a red-lined wrasse, a pair or perculas, a purple firefish(never comes out), a metallic shrimp goby, and i will soon have a pair of pink streaked wrasses. latin names are in signature.

My foxface I had for about 8 years was one of my favorite fish!! Great personality an non aggressive, but able to hold their own.

    I believe foxface=lame. That's just a personal opinion.

I would go with the exquisite wrasse based mainly on adult size and your tank size, but I also like them more than a foxface.

Go for the wrasse! They're much more fun to watch!

    I voted wrasse.

I am addicted to wrasse though a foxface comes in a close runner up. Tough call.

Both your tang & foxface are primary algae grazers. In a 60 you dont need that much food competition even if one or both are sheet/flake trained.

Both the tang & foxface are large body styled fish that require lots of swimming room.

What sized tank is this? And don't you also have a melanurus wrasse?

If it were my choice, I would choose neither. I would perfer a Heniochus Black & White Butterflyfish or a Volitan Lionfish (I know the fish is 2 big for your tank size, I was just trying to let you know what I would like).

Either way, the choice is yours, do what you like. After all you will be the one living with the decision. Let us know what you pick!

Neither would be good for his tank being a mixed reef. Get the wrasse as stated by everyone above. Better fit for your tank.
