Help me ID this plant algea or whatever it is. This thing nearly
over took my tank in a matter of weeks and was apparently some sort of hitch hiker. It grows look8
it's fed with miracle grow and steroids. It's long stringy and attaches with roots to anything it touches.

To control it, you remove it all from your tank by hand.

I have removed every single piece I could get my hands on but I know there are some of the roots down inside the holes of my rock.

Manual removal, then you still have to remove 100% of the holdfasts or it will grow right back. The easiest way to remove the holdfasts is a hand-held butane or propane torch.
