Next batch of shots shows how the bottom panel looks while snugly friction-fit into the original channel i had laid into the base of the stand framing (last weekend).

Now begins the applying of the front channels to hold my already spray-painted plexi panels. (Krylon fusion Shimmer Black).

Once I got things where they lined up nicely, i superglued the channels to the stand front framing, set the stand on its feet and Voila! easily cleanable and removable panels.

The side panels use Velcro for attachment to the outside of the framing. Once again, I wanted to be able to remove ALL panels if I so needed to - cleaning and maintenance should be easy with these.

The sides were then applied to the framing and it results in a nice clean simple contemporary look with no center posts inside.

Plus it will match the shelf above !

(i have some more interior work to do on it yet - but for now I wanted to get some updates posted!)

    thanks for looking!

This means that soon I can start on the tank / sump part. :)

thank you! i couldn't agree more lol....

The next part involves getting the overflow box and other things like dry rock and new sand to add into the new tank.

...soon after if all goes well - a SWC 120 skimmer.

in the meantime i have to go finish up a little interior stand work so i can finally reclaim my living room floor.

Hooray for tank builds! That spray painted plexi looks slick on your stand.
