Online stores? good & bad

Has anyone ever purchased from saltwaterfish.com??
If so how would you rate them???

 

Never have.. Try going with some of our 3reef sponsors first!

 

I've never purchased from them before. They have their own forum and are regularly banning people for putting up links to other online stores. This always led me to question why people would do this knowing they would get banned. That's why I've never purchased from them. They might possibly be an excellent store and my logic might have caused me to make a poor choice.

Regardless, like CR said, we have quite a few good sponsors. I've personally met Rob and Jeremy from Premium Aquatics and they are great guys so I've tended to use them a lot in the past. However, I'm sure the rest of our sponsors are great too.

 

I have bought some livestock from them and was really happy with the service, time and response when one of critters passed on under their 15 day guarantee. The fish are healthy and acclimate well. I still look there ever so often because of pricing, but their stock (especially corals) is really hit or miss...it will change weekly and most of the time I can't get all of what I want because they won't have all of the items....If you are looking at them they are a good company, you just have to buy at least $75 worth, but then the shipping is free....Hope this helps....

But like CR said too, make sure you look at the sponsors of this site too and make the call for yourself....

 

I like Saltycritter...I have had good luck with them and they are friendly!!!

 

I will agree with inwall, I had swf.com delete a posting from me because I put 3reef in my message so I don't do any business with them. I travel to Premium Aquatics about once a month and they have an awsome place. I order from them online to and they have great customer service, which is hard to come by now days.

SWF.com always has a very limited supply tooo. If you look on the page you will see that like 90% of the livestock in on "wish list" . I would go through the sponsers first. We have some good ones!!
