I have a quick question. During copper treatment the only solution to keep Amonia low are daily water changes. Right? There is no other option. Just want to make sure. Thanks.

Got to do the water changes. Binders such as Prime supposedly change the chemistry of Copper, plus Prime will only bind the Ammonia as a less toxic form, you have to do the water changes anyway. Only feed small amounts. Do small more frequent water changes.

Thanks. On the other hand I read somewhere that Amonia test kits gives false results with Cooper. Is this true? I'm using Cupramine by Sachem.

Yes, which is why Seachem recommends (as do I) to use a Seachem Ammonia Alert badge. Constant, accurate monitoring :)

To double check any other test works good with copper? Seams like my API don't read right? Maybe Amonia SALIFERT test? Or any liquid test is not accurate?

Most LFS carry the Seachem badges. May want to call around and see if any have any in stock. You are correct in that the API will not read correctly.

Thanks everybody. I found Sachem badges at local Petsmart for 9$. So API test kit like every evening shows 0.25 and Sachem Amonia Alert Badge still not detectible <0.02>. So I will skip water change tonight:). Fish acts normal, no signs of any stress...:)

Just to clarify, water changes are the only solution IF you don't have a cycled bio filter.
