open brain not opening

I have 2 open brains my purple tang was pecking at. he stoped a few days ago but the coral still wont open at all. it has been a week now they have been left alone. there are no tears on the flesh.
what should i do for them

 

are you sure that the tang may not be still picking on them at night? You wouldn't necessarily see marks if the tang is just interested in it...They also could still be acclimating. Are your parameters all good?

 

My perameters are all ok i check them twice a week. and the coral have been in my tank for quite a few months fine.

 

Have you picked them up and checked the bottoms to make sure nothing funky is growing underneath. I lost a brain like this before.

Also, what type of lights?

 

No i have not i will check it out, i run 2 150 watt MH
