    Maybe? Sounds reasonable if you want to go that route. I'm no tang expert however, so I don't know if that's the best way.

    Very nice fish congrats. My lfs has one of those in their dt tank, absolutelty stunning, hopefully you have no issues with your other tank mates. Couldnt help but notice you said the gem tang is one of your fav's. but had a 3k price tag, wow that is outrageous. Small gem tangs I've seen go for 16-1800 for a 2-4 inch one. and 2300 for a 6+ inch one, 3 grand seems quite steep.

    btw divers den qurantines their fish. if you stick a 6 inch black tang in a 18 inch long aquarium he is going to be pretty pissed, Id suggest tossing him in the dt tank, redo your rockwork and feed lots of nori.

    My tomini bullied around my yellow tang when I first introduced the yellow and it was 1.5x the size of em lol. Now they get along just fine.
