    Hello 3reef reefers,

(puts his helmit on) I have PC's
    2 x 3ft. long banks over my 6ft 125 DT.
Each side has one 10K and one 420/460nm blue actinics - each at 96W.

I have 12 diff. corals total

I'd like opinions on which should be higher up, and which lower down.

    I've got Softies:
    Kenya trees
    Discoma shrooms
    Protopalythoas
    Purple Gorgonean
    Green Star Polyp

    A peach Zoo (which category?)

    LPS:
    Green candycane (also called trumpets?)
    Blue candycane (trumpet?)
    Closed Brain coral

    SPS:
    Sunrise monti
    'tyree' flower monti
    Pocillipora
    Pink Birdsnest

    A maxi-mini Carpet
    A BTA

Right now I have my LPS canchcanes and SPS toward the top
and the Anenomes an d Softies and the Zoo near the bottom.

Your objective thoughts about the light 'totem pole'? Thanks

    Hi Todd IME
these corals would be fine anywhere in terms of lighting and it will be flow amongst other things that would govern ultimate placing for them to be contented
    Kenya trees
    Discoma shrooms
    Protopalythoas
    Purple Gorgonean
    Green Star Polyp
    Peach Zoanthid

as these species can be given solid foods in addition to what they get from the lighting
again I feel flow has more relevance than the lighting in your case

    Green candycane (also called trumpets?)
    Blue candycane (trumpet?)
    Closed Brain coral

These corals, I would be tempted to keep them up reasonably close to the lighting
and where there is a reasonable amount of flow ( you want flow that does not allow particulates to settle on these corals)

    Sunrise monti
    'tyree' flower monti
    Pocillipora
    Pink Birdsnest

The nems - I have zero experience worth having and as such cannot offer any opinion

    Steve

    Thanks Steve,

That's kind of what I'm doing now.

I don't spot feed my of the corals, from what I've researched, I don't really have to.

I do spot feed the Anenomes 1-2 x week.

They all seem to be doing well.
some are frags, while some are large corals

The montis if they are encrusting can be lower than the BN and Pocillopora. I agree with Steve's recommendation.

The BTA will move to where it likes pest and the Mini will most likely stay wherever you place. It probably should be in the top half of the tank.

    Wow, thanks,

The Pocillpora seems to be getting bleached or something, it was looking great and polyps really full, now not as much.
    All the rest look great.

I have both the anenomes near the bottom, and the MM carpet is growing well! I spot feed them about once a week.

I tried to move the BTA, but couldn't get him off the rock he's on.
My Black Sebae clown and Oc. clown sure like him though.

Thanks for the tip; my Sunrise Monti is encrusting now. I'm moving it down, it went down a few inches today. A few more in a couple of days.
