Well I did something dumb. I went to put sand in my new 75 but did not rinse it. Now it is really cloudy. I have had my canister and 3 hot filters on it running for 2 days. Still murky as crap. What can I do filter it out?

Hmmm...just to clarify we are not talking about live sand correct? If not...well since there is nothing in the tank (correct?) well...if it doesnt clear up you might want to try to syphon it out and wash it...or just keep stirring in the tank and do ALOT of water changes. Sort of using the tank as a big sink...

Not live sand. I have about 10 pounds of CC in their seeding it.

it may also make sense to not stir up the sand for a few hrs as well and let it settle down a bit so that it becomes more compact. Then turn your filters back on. That may help you out a bit.

You might just have to do a bunch of water changes like Bruce says. This happened to me when I put my sand in (I didn't rinse it either), and quite a few changes later, it was crystal clear. It's just like rinsing your sand inside the aquarium instead of outside it.
