Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited! I transfered everyone over with no problems!
I switched everything over Thursday night and it's been perfect since. (it being Tuesday)
Oh and how that bow added some awesome aquascaping effects!

I have pictures but I have to wait to finish putting the lighting in the new hood so I can get pics of that and I'll be posting all the pictures on here soon!

I have a link for the pics and I have to check my email to get the link for the video.

Haven't decided where I want to place the koralia heads yet. I don't want too much flow low because of my LPS but I want to pull water from the back bottom and push it up to help circulate the water better.

Right now, I haven't got a chance to hook up the SCWDs because I've been too busy. So, the Koralia heads are right on the sides pushing water at my SPS.

I'll try to get the video loaded.

    The video!

Here's a video I took the night of the swap. Everything opened right up and as you can see, I used my 10g frag/ now fuge tank as a drain/ mixer to bring both tanks to the same water params...

here's the video, hope you like it and hope my set-up maybe useful for someone who wants to swap their's.....

Do you try to syncronize the 2 SCWD's? Like 2 on the right side blow simutaneously then the left and so on...

No, I pointed one set across the top of the water to imitate ruff turf and to aggravate the surface. The other two pointing toward the top shelf to stir up and benefit SPS. They say that switching current helps them become stronger and reproduce faster because it incorporates their natural flex and rebuild characteristics with aide in food delivery and excretion. I was going to try to synchronize them but I have two different size pumps and one is piped further then the other so they would never stay sync'd.

Do you dose your tank? If so what do you use?

The only thing I am religious about is amino daily to keep it consistent.
I also add iodide and iodine in less then recommended doses.
The calcium reactor keeps the calcium, carbonate, strontium, magnesium and minimal potassium steady with it's slow drip.
(I have Reef and Tropic marin calcium, strontium, magnesium, buffer (dkh) to buffer any of my levels up or down when needed as the reactor media dissolves.)

I feed my coral lightly everyday with a shot glass of amino and vitamin, oyster feast, coral vibrance and some mixed mineral mud powder that I bought a big canister of AWHILE ago that I don't even remember the name of.
My fish every two days with garlic soaked variety (mysis, Cyclop-eeze and MicroCrabs- which is a bigger granule of Cyclop-eeze)... not more then can be consumed in 2-3 minutes, again a shot glass size. Some days I just give them garlic soaked mysis.

Thank you for looking at my thread.

Oh, and 1cc of 80proof Smirnoff triple distilled Vodka a day.
