Looking very good. Almost time to frag. Bet someone would like to trade frag for frag. ::)

    Thanks,

Almost 1 month since a growth shoot. It continues to grow well, maintain it's true coloration. Included in the image is the larger frag of RP, all are doing well and showing growth as well. Tabling is directional towards the light. The main thing I learned from fragging it, is to frag larger pieces, next time.

Very nice Cheryl, what made you decide that larger pieces are better for frags?

Hey I can not see the image?????

Well a few things actually, it handled the fragging so well. See better growth to the main colony after fragging and lastly the larger frags=bigger more appealing frags and may be more stable on the plug.

Not everyone is interested in how corals grow, but for those that are I have included some tabling and encrusting images.

Jan 1st and the encrusting has just begun, coral plug was placed in this spot mid Dec.

Now Feb 27, 2010. Encrusting both sides of the plug now but no vertical growth from the area newly encrusted.

Tabling image, main branches fused and now off shoots grow off the area of the fusion.

    Getting bushy as well.
