    LOL
That is how it is with all frags. Once you get them, the waiting begins ;)
Post some of your other before and after photos. It is incredible how the growth of coral varies so much.

This one is over 5 months, of what was called a Christmas Millepora. Frankly I think they only called it that because it sold around Christmas, I would sure expect a lot more color out of something called Christmas.

    That one is great!
It also looks to have improved coloration. Growth is one thing but coloring a coral up is something completely different.
    Great pictures too ;)
How is the expriment going where you placed a frag horrizontally on the plug? Have you seen any more growth?

Oh that frag is going nuts, probably the fastest growing frag I have. About 1.5 month growth. It's encrusting the egg create.

    That is pretty incredible
Do you think it is because of how you place the frag or are there other variables that you think could have caused the growth?
    I might try this :D

There are 4 other frags mounted horizontally. None of them have grown as fast as this one or are encrusting the egg create. Based on this very little comparison group I would say that yes it grows easily twice as fast. That image did not include the entire frag either. They are all right next to it so there is no measurable difference in conditions.

Almost a month since last update. The mother colony is really slowed, so I am going to frag two main branches off both sides. The growth of the frags amazes me.

Love that horizontal frag, I will be keeping that one and gluing the next frags, horizontally.
