Thank you Chris. One would do very well under your lighting and with all that flow if you go sps.

LOL Exactly, white tips. That is what lets me know I am doing ok parameter wise.

    Looking great as always!
Do you sell frags locally? With a colony like that, regular pruning only speeds up the growth!

    Thank you,

I think the fact that I do not run a skimmer keeps enough nutrients in my water to enhance the color, just a theory.

Thank you very much. Yea RP is always a easy rewarding coral if you get a nice frag and grows fast.

I have not pruned in a while and I usually trade pieces at the LFS, because I am too chicken to send it through the mail and cost a small fortunate.
When it was too high it stunted it's growth once the tips reached the surface and my parameters were off. Now that it's down lower and I am testing more frequently it's taking off again.

Dosing a ton now though, much more than ever, guess that is what happens with you get larger colonies. I probably could not keep up with clams. Nanos are tricky chemistry wise, very unstable.

Thank you Trent, do you still have that German Blue?

I do. Not my original mother colony that I had from before the copper crash. But have gotten a frag of it back and am on my way to growing it out again. Need a piece?

Sure I would love to have a piece, but shipping is too much for one frag.

I would REALLY like to see an image of it though if you get the time.

This is the best picture I could find. Not my display colony, but my "growout" piece from probably about 2.5? years ago.
