I recently bought an orange monti frag about the size of a silver dollar. It was doing great for about a week and now it has lost alot of color. All the levels in my tank have stayed the same and all the other corals are doing well. I recently got a new light fixture and maybe that is the issue? I went from a 2x24 watt T5 HO fixture to a 4x24 watt. . I have tried moving it to various locations and still no inprovement. The tank is 20 g. Any ideas?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
IMO you need to move it lower and leave it there for a longer period of time. :)

I had the same problem but then moved it lower for like 2 weeks, nothing. But then moved it back to the same higher spot but with less flow and now the polyps are out 24/7. So just move it and leave it for 2 weeks and see if that works.

    Can we get a pic?

Move it down and let it recover then slowly move it back up.

I've found monti caps to be more susceptible to changes in lighitng, especially when going from one tank to another. It sounds like you bleached it, but the differing water parameters from the original tank to your tank could have affected it too. The key here is to let it sit in one place and see what happens. A 20g doesn't have a ton of room or different heights, so you may even need to shade it a little. Eventually you should be able to get it back, but keep in mind it may not have the same color as when you bought it.
