I just fed my tank and I saw my orange spot goby (New addition) running around actually swimming up a few inches to catch frozen mysis, does anyone else have a goby that does this? It's the first time I've seen a Goby actually directly go for the frozen Mysis while floating in the water column.

i have the same fish and he eats any frozen food i put in. i have had him for over a year now. he stands guard over my pistol shrimp. i got lucky, they paired up 5 minutes after they were put together.

Mine actively eats all frozen. Now I think I will get a shrimp and hope they pair up

the only species i have had luck with is the tiger pistol. very hardy and gets a nice size. i thaw a half clam and put it in a seaweed clip and lower it to the bottom via fishing line. gives him a little variety. when he is done, i just pull it back up and feed the rest to my trigger in my predator tank.

my orange spotted goby usually just grazes and hunts pods, but will eat any frozen mysis, brine, spirulina brine, and pellets that I throw in if hes out around feeding
