orange toadfish

    so my gf thinger bought 1 about 7 inches long. he ate in the lfs but not in his tannk now a 55 gal. he also looks like his skin is peeling...it was an impulse buy but she fell in love ...what do i do its been atleast a week since his last meal...i put feeder fish in with him today. but whats up with the skin and ny tips to get him to eat?

    also he digs alot.

    Skin sounds like it could be a bacterial problem....but I'm not sure. I don't know anything about toadfish. So here's a bump for ya.

    ill try to get a pic hes usually hiding though :(...tried silversides and krill.theres grass shrimp and killies in there live now

    when i had a toadfish i would just put a piece of frozen squid and he loved it id try that and ya they will dig thats normal and once he finds a spot he wont move much especially as they get bigger i dont know about the skin falling off though

    i dont think there related to the scorpionfish, but maybe they shed also? i know scorps will shed all th time, but not sure on toadfish.
