orange worms come from sand?

i have in 2 or 3 areas of my sand hair thick orange worms coming up thru my sand bottom, there are about 15 to 20 in a 2"x2" area and they just kind of move with the flow, sorry no pics....any ideas?

 

probably spaghetti worms or hair worms

Almost all of the body stays buried in the sand or rock and the feeding tentacles are the only things visible.
