    Good choice. I'm pretty sure your diamond goby is going to enjoy this over the crushed coral.
    If you do need the crushed coral as a pH buffer, couldnt you just have it in your sump or fuge?

    Yes I will have a 10 gallon fuge so I can use the crushed coral. I got 70lbs total, 40lbs live and 30lbs base.

    sounds good

    also everyone has said crushed coral leads to high nitrates because of the dead spots but if you just use a gravel vac shouldn't it kill the problem?
