So i didn't see much reviews about this on the enternet but the few that i did see were highly reccomending this light. Right now i'm 80% positive that i will buy it. I like the fact of the lower price of around $400 for the 36", that it's metal halide, cooling fans, lunar lights, and if i want to keep harder corals in the future i won't have to upgrade to a more expensive light fixture. Now i just need your opinions/experiece about this lighting.

If you want to keep more than soft coral, leathers, lps, mushrooms, palys and zoanthids, then go with a T5HO setup or MH.

Sorry but I am confused. In your message you describe it being 36" and halides. But you said the Orbit 4X96W PC. That light is neither 36" or halides. It is a 72" PC fixture. Did you mean something else other than the Orbit?

MH's would be to expensive for me, and right now i am planning on keeping softies, but later on i may want to do the hard corals. I don't want to spend more than $400 on lighting, and it would have to be a 36" light so any good t5 lighitng suggestions in that price range which would make me be able to do things more than soft corals in the future? Also i will not be using a chiller.

don't do it. Do a mh fixture or a good T5HO and call it good. You will thank yourself later. Personally pc's are too yellow for my liking

i thought when i was reading reviews that the lighting had metal halide lighting, i forget where i saw it, but i might be wrong but weather it has it or not, it doesn't really matter to me.

And also only reason why i ask because when i was searching the enternet a person on this site our customers tanks says that they have this lighting on their 46 gallon bowfront which is what i will be getting

Get a nova extreme pro or a current sundial. You could also get a tek fixture for that I believe

    What size is the tank?
Here are a few I would recommend:
