Order never sent?

    I ordered an Overflow, and some bulbs from Aquacave on 2/14/11. The bulbs arrived on time, but the Overflow has still not arrived. UPS has no record of receiving the package. The only record UPS has is a label that's been created. My Girlfriend has talked to Mike many times and every time he has another excuse. She has tried to cancel the order and asked for a refund several times now. We never received an Overflow and just want our money back :confused:

    We are refunding you for the overflow box, UPS is not able to locate the second box that we shipped and it's still pending on their end. Thank you for your patience and we appreciate your business. Again, we apologize for the long wait.

    They may give you a refund but it will not be for the full amount, they take out extra shipping charges when they do refunds. Just one of their shady business practices. I had a run in with them last year, posted it on all the major forums, some actually removed my posts because they were sponsors. If you are interested I can give you the whole story, of course now that I have chimed in they will probably give you a full refund just to look good. :)

    I'm sorry, but, it seems to me that AquaCave likes to shift blame an awful lot. Especially towards UPS. I'm not very fond of UPS either, but you would think that if UPS was to blame every time someones order gets messed up, they (AquaCave) would use another shipping company.

    When we make mistake, we own up to it. We do not shift it to any company or anyone. Did we do something with an order of yours?

    This thread has gotten off the topic and has taken a turn. I have ordered from aquacave and have not had a problem with them, however I am sure as with any companty that you order from online there will be issues with shipping, supply etc. However the conversation on this thread is not productive to any means.......they said they will give him a full refund, end of thread IMO.

    If I ever order online aquacave is the first place i check, never had a issue yet... they should continue the 10% off for entering 3reef though :)

    I agree, however, since Aquacave has the option of moderating threads in their forum, there is no reason for us to clean up this thread unless they would like us to. If you have an issue with this or any other sponsor, please start your own thread rather than jumping on somebody else's. Thank you.
