    like its own sump i made mine looking at a HOB fuge and it looked like a overgrown skimmer box HOB verson. So as long as water is going in to the fuge and back to the tank it shuld work

    T off incoming line to sump and run fuge off it. Put a valve there so you can slow flow down. I just drilled a hole in the side of my 30g and just let gravity pour the water back in the sump. That way there is no pump needed.
