I ordered my salt for my tank and made the bonehead mistake and instead of ordering Seachems Reef salt, I accidently ordered there regular marine salt. Is this still cool to use in my reef tank, I know I will probably have to boost up certain numbers by dosing it a bit. Other then that though, is it still cool to use in my tank?

I wouldn't worry. Dose it to match your current tank make up (or what you try to maintain) and go.

I've always used cheap salt at a tank startup, then as I add stock, I change up the quality.

Yeah this is my first time using seachems salt, I was planning on using the their reef salt but I guess my first bucket is going to be their basic marine salt. :-/ I was using the tropic marin pro reef, but decided to change due to price and noticed a little bit of a film algae problem in my tank after duing water changes. Also read that online at a few places too.
