Im restocking my 29 gal biocube and wanted some feedback on the way i should go about it.

    Current inhabitants:
    1 clown (approx 1.5inch)
1 cleaner shrimp (moderate in size im sure a pretty small bio load)
1 orange and white urchin (2.5 inch wide)

    Plan in order:
    1 Spotted Cardinalfish (1.5 inch??)
1 wrasse (had a six line prior, another type in a moderate price range - $ 50 or less SUGGESTIONS?)
1 Angel (had a coral beauty, thinking of a flame?)

1 clown - ideally id like a pair of clowns in the tank however dont really want to get rid of my current guy since hes been around for 1 year or so therefore i was thinking of taking a gamble and dropping a larger sized one in there and seeing if it would work. But i will probably just end up returning the sole guy for a pair of clown. If i did that i guess i would also drop them in last?

Bioload is high i realize but i have seen another bio cube with a similar load and things progressed fairly well. But to ensure im ok i might drop the flame angel.

For what its worth I run a bio cube protein skimmer, waters in good shape and the thanks been established for about 1.5 years

Comments please - and thanks in advance

what about a flasher wrase? Becareful of the flame they like corals!! But other then that seams fine to me, im also a fan of a high bio-load if the tank is stable and can handle it

Here we go again with the dwarf angels . . . SOMETIMES individuals nip on certain corals. Please stop parroting what you have heard as a fact and maybe try wording it as an opinion?

With everything on your list that would be a heavy bio-load for a 55, let alone a 29. I would leave out the second clown and dwarf angel in favor of a trio of cardinals.

It IS a fact and i will keep warning people till im blue in the face. Better to be warned and know what they are getting into then not! My point is BE VERY CAREFUL when putting a dwarf angel in a reef tank, no, not EVERY single one will nip/eat corals, but more likely then not they will. One think to try and avoid this behavior is to keep them well feed, but they are a reef safe fish with caution, and what that means is more likely then not you will get the fish that follows the rule and not teh exception.

i agree with ocean in regards to the wrasse. flashers are awesome. great color and fins look spectacular when theyve got them out. i didnt notice any mentions of corals, so you would be definitely ok with a flame. awesome colors again . and im one of the exceptions with my flame in regards to corals. good luck with it all. theres a good online site thats actually out your way in bc. wont mention it here but if you want, PM me.
