    Hi all -

I've been hunkered down with my tank lately. I hooked up a pH probe and an ORP probe through my Reef Angel Controller. Last night I calibrated my ORP probe with brand-new 470mV solution and the reading I am currently getting on my phone :) is 147 (norm is supposed to be 300-400?). Roberto at Reef Angel tells me that is normal and it takes a couple weeks for the probe to settle in.

Anyone else have a similar experience with ORP probe calibration?

    Thanks in advance!

They do take a while to settle in; I believe mine took about 10 days? I don't quite recall now, but it wasn't quick.

Something lowish. I've never calibrated mine; it's always read highish.

It's a relative number anyways; watching for significant fluctuations is what you're really after.

I can see your point about flux. I still find this calibration scenario odd. That said mine is slowly going up. At 167 now.
