Ours runs 380-400, depending on the time of day.

I was going ask the same question Am :)

John if you are running ozone you do not want the ORP to get any higher than 450mV. NSW can run in the low 400's. 500mV is at the danger level.

The numbers Am gave you are good numbers to shoot for. That does not mean if you can't get them soemthing is wrong. A tank running a say 400mV does not necessarily mean it is better that a tank runnning at say 380mV. One should also not be comparing ORP values from tank to tank.

If you are not running an oxidant, like ozone, and there are other oxidants some use, the ORP can be as high as it wants. If you are not running any oxidants turning up the dial means nothing and will do nothing.

These may get a little deep but will help you understand what ORP really is, to include the use and application of ozone and what you "may" expect.

Yes I am running ozone on my 150 and I have the set point on my controller at 325.

The instructions that came with my ( Red Sea 100 ) say to keep the Redox potential values between 300 and 350mV as the ( Recommended desirable level ) and do not recommend anything higher than 400mV So that is why I set my set point at 325 ............... John
