Is it an aqua controller and which model if so? A jr or pro....? I wanna post my tank specs to be able to view them on my cell phone. Wondering if it was hard to set up or if it gave u any issues. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure that Scott has the Aqua Controller III which is between the AC Jr and the AC III Pro. I know he said that he loves it.

I use a ACIII and use a local host to hold my tank data that I post as a in my signature. The only way you will be able to see it on your phone is is you can run Java and have internet access.
Matters what you are wanting to do with your controller but a Jr. may be the way to go if you have a budget. I have 2-DC8's and a PX-1000 expansion module on mine. Automated pretty much everything all the way down to the temp in the fish room.

Otty, do you use the data logging feature of your unit at all? I was curious how you liked it and if you found it limiting at all. From the owners manual it will only keep last 600 entries.

Also are you running your mh ballasts off of the DC-8? If they are I was wondering why they were not hooked into a DC-4 Heavy Duty since their amps are usually pretty high.

I use another local host to hold all my data that I can look up and graph up to a month back. I don't use the units internal ones but you can use Aqua Notes to keep them.
My MH ballast are hooked up 220v and they go though a Allen Bradley Motor contactor with a 120v coil. I just use one of the ports on my DC-8 to run the coil and it turn on the lights. I run my HammerHeads and O[SUB]3[/SUB] Generator with 220v also.
