Otty what you can do is increase the pipes to 1.5 inches and 1.1/2 tee .. The added head pressure and expansion room in the pipe will increase the flow might even jump up to 2 inch pipe ..?

 

I have a 2" pipe overflow and its overflowing a little bit above 1200 gph.

The holes I drilled are 1" holes, remember I used your bit...;D Are you saying increase from 1.25" to 1.5 on the standpipe and keep the 1" bulkhead??
