Man he is doing great. There for about 1.5 weeks I never seen him eat anything except for picking on the rock. In the last 4 days he has been eating me out of broccoli everyday and tearing up the seaweed I put in. Think he is going to be a keeper. Haven't even tried to get another pic as I have been busy with other tank chores. I will get one soon.

I believe it is all in keeping the tanks parameters stable and the stress levels down (Hand in the tank all the time like most do). I am fighting high nutrients levels right now due to the fact I was over feeding to get the Achilles to eat. He started to worry me a bit but he is eating like a HOG now.

Boo ya! Great choice! I think the fact that it's a 265 with lots of swimming space helps too.

Our LFS is expanding their store, taking out the back bathroom and closet area. They said they are adding roughly 1/3 of their current gallon amount to the store, including upgrading their smaller display tank to a giant 300 gallon thing. Anyways, I saw the 300 gallon, and right when I read the gallon size on it, it made me think of your tank :D That thing's an absolute beast. I'm going down to the store next week to help them get it set up and to grab some community service hours for school :D

Full tank shot of all the corals and stuff? Pretty please?

Got to see the tank last night for the first time in awhile... looking good as usual Scott!! Keep up the good work... and just in case everyone was wondering... yes that hippo tang is bigger than a large bluegill, yes you could fillet it and have enough to make a sandwich, and yes the Achilles is gorgous!!

    Thanks Shehan :)
I just yanked out all the rock but the two largest piece near the OF to get ready for my restructuring of rock that will take place in the next few weeks. Need to open up the area for the larger fish to swim around.

Ahhhh nothing like frying up a bucket of hippo tangs...I mean bluegill :D Good stuff right there. Makes me want to buy a 265 and make a freshwater tank out of it with bluegill, maybe some shad, and a bass or two. and a turtle. Sound good? good. cause it ain't gonna happen.

Stop telling us the tank looks good and show us that it looks good. Photographs would be delightful.
