I will get pics up when I am done with the restructuring of the rock and flow in the tank. Been taking a little rock out at a time to allow the bacteria to stabilize and not stress the fish any more then I have to.

Why not chronicle the work here?? I know it sucks posting pics of the tank when it is not up to your expectations, but maybe someone can learn from it. I didn't want to post pics of my algae farm but I bit the bullet thinking that maybe it will help someone else in the long run..

Man if its not broke don't fix it.. Fish are skinny and at more vertical then horizontal and you have a tall tank . Its not my tank but there is no way in hell I'd remove or mess with anything to allow for more swim room for a fish.. They will never get but to so large in your tank anyways .There are exceptions to the rule but on average day in and day out they get just soo big.

The end by the OF is all the rock that was moved over from the 55g when I took it down so it was, more or less, just laid in the tank like a brick wall. (I hate the looks of it) Since then I have noticed that the flow there is awful and everything seems to be gathering there and building up. I am going to attach the rock to a PVC structure that I will pump water through to keep the movement on that end of the tank good. Plus I like to have a cliff or shelf to put coral on there.

I really enjoy doing things with the tank so to me it is just something to mess with. I am building every thing outside the tank and then will just assemble it inside when I am done. I have shoulder length gloves so I will keep my skin out of the water.

Here is something of the sorts that I am shooting for. This is from a 900g system. I want the sand to be open and not looked cluttered.
