The rock fills a 30 gal trash can and has some awsome shape, they are not just round balls so when I seed it with mine it will look great. I am taking my time with this instead of getting in a hurry. My 55 is still running so I have plenty of time. It is a lot of work but when it is finished and I can sit in the family room with the kids and watch the fish it will be all worth it.;D

I have changed the bottom two legs of the OceanMotion vavle to run underneath the rock in the middle and then come up and bounce the water off the far glass to get a counterclockwise roll of the water. The spouts will be hidden in the rock and the other two valves will be come in on the wall beside the OF box. This way I will have no lines visible in the tank to distract from the view. Everything is a work in progress, I have been talking with a lot of veterans in this hobby and I'm using the advice they have to offer...::)

Not quite plenty of time..... I need some light.

I bought life rock last night on ebay. It should be here by Friday, but then a week to cure, so we're looking at next week when I start pestering you for the lights.

I still have my old 10,000K so I will be good for a while. If the corals start acting funny I'll just bring them over to your house so you can babysit...;D

Well after evenings of pushing snow and celebrating my son's 2nd birthday :balloon: :party010: :balloon: this week I finally got the tank ready to go in the wall, now all I need is some muscle to show up tomorrow....I hope! I got the tank bleached and rinsed out but the water was freezing on me faster then I could spray it out of the hose so I finished it up in the garage with the heat on. Ended up painting the end of the wall mount side so that I don't have to worry about water getting behind some backing. I left the middle open so I could see what is going on in the OF chamber. The 4 outside holes will be for the OceanMotion and the 4 inside holes will be 1 CL pickup and 2 OF drains plus a sump return or an extra drain if the two can't keep up, Mommy said it looks like swiss cheese now.;D There should be some where around 3700 gph going through there so I am making the top to the OF box out of eggcrate instead of milled teeth so I have no restriction in flow. Here is a pic of the LR on it's last soak in baking soda and water, looks a lot better then it did a week ago.
