Those are not pics of my tank, it is how I want mine to look.

Drill holes in the rocks and attach with white tie wraps.

I do not have a full Engineering Degree. I actually have a associates in HVAC and one in Maintenance Technology. Worked Engineering for a few years at Toyota and now I integrate and program robots for Motoman Robotics . What are you heading off to school to be Jwin????

Good question :D Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering have caught my eye...and Chattanooga has the new VW plant coming to America (go us) and it will be operational right around when I'd graduate. But then I'm also interested in other things. I'm working part time at the Tennessee Aquarium right now, and I love that place. That'd be nice if I just stayed there the rest of my life :p I'm SCUBA certified, too.

You could make a better living at Mechanical Engineering then aquatics but that will be a decision you have to make.

Or I could do both? :D Get paid for one, maybe a job at the American VW plant, and be a volunteer diver at the TN Aquarium on the side? I'll just see what happens. It's not my place to plan my future so far ahead from now, cause what do I know? I'll just wing it. "Cross that bridge when it comes" or so they say, even though I don't like that saying.

I feel like I'm hijacking your thread, Scott. But, then, you're hijacking your thread too. So is it really hijacking? :freak3:

So now you can get a certified pre-owned robot just like a certified pre-owned Lexus??? Interesting....

Maybe you can have them programmed to empty the skimmer cup, perform water changes, and clean algae off of glass? :D Along with other tasks of the customer's choosing.

    Power??

I apologize if you posted the answer to this already. I'm wondering if you hard wired your amazing new rig into the house with a seperate breaker or are you using a standard walk outlet with 120v breaker? I'm ordering a 1/4hp chiller for my 135. I'm running 2 MH lighting each with it's own ballast and 4 compact 65w blue's. I've been nervous about ordering the chilling in fear it will trip the breaker using a standard 120v.

I run a separate circuit to the fish room. In that circuit I run most of my stuff off 220v (Ozone, MH's, fans) and then I run all other stuff off of 3 110v separate circuits. I have a 1/3hp chiller for the tank and another 1/10hp for the Q-tank. I also run a stand alone heat pump in the fish room too so I can keep up with the temp changes in there.
