I will try and make it over one night this week and fix if for you. I'll write all the stuff down so you can do it next time if Comcast puts you on a different noid.

Otty if he does not want to wait he could just give you his Comcast assigned IP for the router and you could get in with his login and password from your house and do what you need to do. That's if he was as impatient as I am when it comes to computers(I work in the industry.. Man computer suck).

Are you using thread sealant or silicon tape? The reason I ask is today I was putting together some new PVC that seeps.. I used extra silicon tape and still seeped a bit. My old PVC had the sticky gooy thread sealant that never leaked. I didn't put that stuff on there it came from previous owner. So I think I'm going to try to find that stuff from the hardware store.

I use the pink thread tape that is thicker then the white. I was afraid to use what I call "pipe dope" on the thread in fear it would get in the water column.

I believe that "pipe dope" is oil based, so could it be ok after it cured? You know whats really funny? Plumbers use this stuff on fitting and joints between 2 disimilar metals, like the copper pipes and the chrome valves that shut off the water to your kitchen sink. So in short, what good enough for people, isn't good enough for the inhabitants of our tanks.;D
