    I run my light off a ACIII that I use one the 110v outlets off my DC8 to run a external motor contactor. This is so I can run my light with 220v. That Allen Bradley motor contactor cycled most of the night. :cry:

    That's enough to almost make a grown man cry.......

    Looks like it's time for an Apex :)

    Wow Scott. That's too bad. I thought I read a recent post of yours speaking of your elegance in the past tense, but I think I repressed it. :-/

    Yeah, the hobby is trying for sure. I'm about to swap out my old sump to accomodate my new skimmer, and with it comes a bunch of changes. I'm trying to take it slow, as I've made many decisions with haste in the past. We all know too well that everything bad happens fast in a reef tank.

    Good luck. However I know that your progress is based very little on luck. Either way, godspeed! :)

    Apex would not help the AB contactor sticking. Just used a old piece of equipment I took out of a crane at work.

    If they would do a trade in I would have a Apex but the ACIII Pro is doing fine for me. If it ever quits then I might get one.
