They are one week old today and we are waiting for eggs to hatch any day now. This is our 25th brood. The mated pair we have are very consistent. They have not stopped laying eggs in almost two years. It is like clockwork.

It is fun raising them but a lot of work..We also have to raise the rotifers and baby brine shrimp as they are the only food the baby larvae will eat until they go through their metamorphosis...

I have had a couple spawns myself from a pair of tomato clowns.
But I was never able to raise the fry due to the unavailability of rotifer cultures in Trinidad. I tried baby brine shrimp and frozen rotifers but the fry wouldn't take them.
I've heard that just leaving a bottle of tank water out in the sunlight with an air stone can build a rotifer culture but I've tried that to no avail.
I believe I need a healthy culture to start my own which unfortunately isn't available in my country just yet due to customs etc etc etc:-/
