Well, our mated Perc's eggs have hatched over the past three days and there are hundreds and hundreds. We have captured a few hundred and housed them in a hanging fry keeper. We are going to get another hundred or two into the basked in a bit....8)

Raise them and then sell them..More then likely most will not survive...But we should have a good bunch in about a month...

What are you going to be feeding the fry?

Seems like a really cool thing to do - interesting to see how they form first hand, and obviously, tank-bred fish are always good!

They were born in a 57 high. They have been paired for 4 months in this tank. She laid her eggs last Friday and they hatched on Thursday. We started putting them in a small hang on basket. We fed them today for the first time and they went crazy for the rotifers. They have already begun developing their tails and you can see their eyes through a magnifying class. They are about the size of a pin head....
