Well, we are on day 5 and we still have a few hundred larvae. They have doubled in size and many of them have begun to turn orange. I just wish we had live rotifers on the day they hatched. We have fed them frozen rotifers for the past 3 days and am getting a shipment of live ones tomorrow.

As an aside, the mated pair are about to lay eggs again....8)

    Hey Baxter
    Awesome man...
I always wanted to try it but the 4 or 5 pairs I have owned never layed eggs. They were def mated though and loved each other

    very cool!

I know of one local reefer that raised about a hundred of them over the years.

so, how many do you think will make it from this batch??

Hey guys, thanks...The grow out tank for this latest hatch is a 10gallon tank, a heater, a hang on filter, some rock, and a light...Just the basics, but it works well8)

Well, it appears that we have about 25% of this latest hatch remaining. This group is now on day 7 and eating like crazy...
