Our Progress - 46 bowfront

Ahhh, ever the astute one, Steve. That clown would be a record holder - about 2 feet long! A present from Jwin, who appreciates my love for this hobby!

 

Hahaha that's what happens when you combine my mom's hobby, mother's day, and me working in the TN Aquarium I get to buy huge clownfish

The office is already messy again btw.

And my mom likes pictures...can you tell? I sure can...

 

And who messes it up (besides me)???? It's not THAT bad....

 

The tank top - a few weeks later. This is a view from what the top of it looks like. Overall, it's held up very well with the Gorilla tape. The key was pulling the screen over the top of the egg crate by at least an inch or inch and a half and then running the tape. I haven't had to reinforce that at all. A few areas where I had to clip the screen and the tape was on the "water" side of the egg crate, I've had to reinforce. So far, so good. Everybody is still in the tank!

I was further relieved to have my weird egg crate top when Jwin's friend told him that his fire fish had jumped the night before last.

New baby chick hatched yesterday. First one ever for the TN Aquarium. He's being blocked off from the other "curious" penguins for now.


My future reef tank? It's only 390 gallons....

...Yay Gift Shop!!! ...ugh. She comes to where I work, and takes pictures of me. Wow. One of the customers I was helping said "that has to be your mom..." My reply was *sigh*...yeah...that's her.
