Ok now for the pictures you guys actually care about...Full tanks shots!!

 

wow your tank looks so good! i'm surprised you didn't go with a bigger tank, you have a lot more space on that wall

 

Hahaha believe me...we wanted to. But we wanted to keep it easy on the very first tank. If we ever upgrade, it'll be in that spot! My mom actually likes the size of a 120...maybe when my brother and I are out of the house for good she'll spend the extra cash on something like that.

 

Just checked...it's about a 7 foot wall. Behind it is a half bath, and then we have the open door wet bar next to that. So we could knock down the wall between the wet bar and half bath, put doors on the wet bar, and then use the expanded room as the fish room. All we'd need to do is maybe a 6 foot tank and then the possibilities are endless. We could even do an in wall tank, maybe with a 2 side "L" view. Believe me, I'v thought about this

pssst! jwin! don't let your mom read this, but i'm pretty handy with a hammer. i build houses, dude. remods, bathrooms, whatever. knocking out a wall or setting up an inwall = piece of cake. i know you know your way around a workshop from your DIY vid. you get her out of the house for a weekend and i'll come down and hook you up. all for the low low price of a handful of frags and modest supply of beer (aka "go juice"). think about it, man
