It is a labor of love, but I have to credit the urchin and snails for keeping the back wall clean! When my last urchin died, I didn't replace it right away and noticed in no time the coraline building back up everywhere. I got tired of scraping glass and replaced the urchin. He does a great job!

Hey, Triple Mom. Your corals look great under actinics. It's blue, but not *too* blue. Do you think I could create a similar color with LEDs? I'm not sure how many CREE LEDs I would need...cool white vs royal blue.

Thanks! I had a hard time deciding on bulbs the last time - I don't know much about LEDs. Maybe try posting in the lighting thread and see what people think. I'm getting ready to replace my bulbs again and am once again trying to figure out what to do!

My cleaner shrimp died, after a little over 2 years. :( I really enjoyed watching him. So, Jwin and I went to the LFS today and came home with a nice fire shrimp. :) While we were there, Jwin found a peppermint hogfish like the one I got recently online. It was $150, reduced to $120! Mine is much prettier than theirs and was much cheaper! I love a bargain! ;D
