    I stay away from encrusting corals now. I am in the middle of a battle with GSP. To control them you can try and frag, or just blast them with something like lemon juice where you don't want them.

    It has been suggested to make little epoxy discs or borders around it and let them grow onto that, and then pull them out for frags. I think that will be the route taken.

    We use rubble rock to control fast growth. Place small pieces around the colony and as the coral encrusts over the rubble, remove the bits and replace them with clean rubble rock.

    I can't keep my hermits from knocking those around. That's why I'm going with something they can't move.

    Maybe JossMalo will chime in with a picture, but I had a frag of the same palys. We called them **** palys because we didnt find them to be visually appealing. lol They went from a few head on a frag plug that I have to him to covering over a square foot of rocks in the back of his tank. They will be nuked sometime soon, how, not totally sure. But they gotta go.

    ya can lightly glue those pieces into place. a lil dap of reef gel and ure set

    yea, these arent the most beautiful palys, but my clowns love them, they are constantly in them, so I don't want to get rid of them....just yet:)
