I was feeding the other day and my black clown jumped up and nipped my hand spilling about 75 pellets in a 29g tank. They disappeared into rocks and coral. After about an hour the cuc ate the visible stuff. I didn't have time to even vacuum. What can I expect at this point? I have 2 clowns and the tank is 2 months new. Man, I've done more stupid stuff screwing with this tank, including spilling water and knocking down LR scapes. Im def a newbie!

You should be alright. Do some light feeding for a week or 2 and keep an eye on your parameters. I would do a 10-20% water change later this week but give the uneaten food some time to dissolve.

I think you will be fine. I would do exactly what pastey says. I would do a 20% water change for the next two and feed the fish lightly for the next few feedings. its not a big deal life happens everything will be fine.

Your black clown to bite you every time your hand is near. It has now learned that to get a shower of food, simply bite the hand that feeds it. :cheesy:

Seriously, your tank should be fine.

The use of a turkey baster to blow things out of and off your LR works great. Then just use a fine mesh net to scoop.

My black occ. is the devil. It goes after me if my hand is in the water...even knuckle deep. Moving things around is a 2 person job...myself to do the moving and my gf to guard my hand with a net.
