ok so i made this overflow and sump....the overflow is a design i copied off a post here (a very nice one i might add) and the sump is relitivly small due the fact of lack of space under the tank... i have some filter material covering the return line to help filter out the bubbles.... and ther is my problem... there is a gazillion microbubbles clouding up my tank... i just put the skimmer in today and that isnt helping at all... here b some pics...

Is there some kind of media or baffle by the return pump before the water gets to it?

And those are bubbles right? The water just isn't cloudy. If those are all bubbles the pump has to be pulling in air from somewhere. Is there a divider between the simmer and return pump?
