Does anyone have any experience with the CPR overflow boxes and Aqualifter pumps? I've been thinking about replacing my U tube overflow with one of the CPR boxes. They are supposed to be quiet and with the aqualifter pump supposedly dont lose suction. I'd like to hear from someone with experience with these before I buy one. Thanks!

For what I have seen they are quite reliable when used with the aqualifter. I know in the past some were using pumps like rios with the venturi to suck out the air and failure rate was much higher cause the first thing you had to worry about was the rio starting when the power came back on.

I also have the CPR overflow with the aqualifter. I do not have a battery backup. When the power goes out, it retains the critical part of the water and when the power restarts, so does the overflow. The aqualifter pump works great too! Never have a problem. ;D

The only noise I get is really from the aqualifter occasionally when it gets a good air bubble to pass through, and it isn't that bad at all.
